In Africa, we promote sustainable gardening projects and microfarms that yield abundant harvests and strengthen independent livelihoods. What we do<\/h2>\n

We focus on microfarms<\/strong> and various urban gardening options to empower people and break cycles of dependency. Through holistic and sustainable agriculture<\/strong>, we share knowledge about soil fertility, water management, and harvest preservation. Our approach combines practical training<\/strong> with spiritual discipleship to bring about long-term life transformation. <\/p>\n

We support people (especially smallholder farmers) in Africa in improving their living conditions in a sustainable way. Through training in environmentally friendly agriculture, urban gardening, and resilient farming methods, we help them increase their yields and become independent of external aid in the long term. In addition, we promote the establishment of food banks to ensure food security and reduce economic dependencies. In addition to agricultural development, we value holistic life development that opens up both social and spiritual perspectives. Our goal is to empower people to discover their own potential and shape a sustainable future for themselves and their communities. <\/p>\n

Plentiful Garden is a ministry of the <\/span>mission organization msd<\/b><\/a>, which has been offering Bible courses in Africa for many years. Our work continues to evolve: in addition to spiritual formation, we focus on sustainable agriculture to empower people in practical ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our project manager Bernard Bucyana was born and raised in Rwanda. He is married to a Swiss woman and lives in the Thun region. From our office, he manages and coordinates all the work in Africa and drives the plentiful.garden project forward. Through targeted visits, training, and on-site support, he is creating lasting change with our local partners in Africa.<\/span><\/p>\n
